Myte: Rørsukker er sundere end hvidt sukker
Falsk:

Forskellen imellem rørsukker og hvidt er at rørsukker indeholder noget af det sirup, man damper fra ved fremstillingen. Almindeligt hvidt sukker er raffineret, det vil sige, at alt andet end det rene sukker er fjernet. Der er ingen nævneværdig forskel i næringsværdien. Om sukkeret er økologisk, har hellere ikke nogen betydning i den forbindelse. Sukker er et kulhydrat, der går under tomme kalorier, fordi det ikke har nogen næringsværdi for kroppen.

False:

The difference between cane sugar and white sugar is that the cane sugar contains some of the syrup, that is steamed away when it’s made. Plain white sugar is refined, i.e. that anything else than they pure sugar, is removed. There’s no significant difference in the nutritional value. Even if the sugar is organic, there isn’t any difference in this connection. Sugar is a carbohydrate, which means it’s also what is called empty calories, because it doesn’t have any  nutritional value for the body.
