Myte: For meget sukker kan give tynd mave
Falsk:
Men hvis du spiser en stor mængde af sukker, du kan få ondt i maven, hovedpine og føle dig utilpas. Noget der til gengæld kan give diaré, er sødemidler i lightprodukter, som der i store mængder kan virke afførende. Hvis du har reddet dig selv fra en omgang diaré, så kan ”ægte” sukker hjælpe dig, da det hjælper kroppen med at optage salt og væske, som man mister under sådan en omgang.

Myth: Too much sugar can give the runs
False:
But if you eat an excessive amount of sugar, you can get stomach pain, headache and feel uneasy/unwell. Something that in return can give diarrhoea, is sweetener in light products and in large amount cause diarrea. If you have saved yourself from diarrhoea, ”real” sugar can help the problem. Sugar helps the body absorb salt and fluid, that you loose when you have ”the runs”.
