My name is Maia. I’m 19, and live in Denmark. My whole life I’ve been overweight. Until about 2-3 years ago, where I started working out, eating healthy and lost weight. In the middle of exercising and eating healthy, I got so into it, that it became so much more. Which is also one of the reasons I started this blog. I enjoy cooking and making healthy food and coming up with healthy recipes. I am sensitive to both gluten and lactose so when I make food they will most likely be gluten free or lactose free.
I try to work out as much as I can. But getting late of school and then comning home to do homework, I am not always as motivated as I wish I were. Right now I got a 10K race comning up, so I will be traning towards that and I aim for running 3 times a week to get ready. Other than running I enjoy strength training and boxing a lot. I also do Crossfit every Friday. The boxing I do is not the ”normal” kind of boxing. It’s fitness boxing. It means that we don’t fight against each other, we ”just” box and don’t alot of exercises in between. I really want to do Jiu Jitsu though. I think it is really important to know how to defend yourself and just being strong is not good enough. You need to have some technique. But I don’t have time to start Jiu Jitsu now so hopefully in the future.
